The just past full moon was a beautiful backdrop to our flaming orange lanterns. No wind lower down in this protective valley meant the lanterns went up in all directions until they caught the very slight wind blowing over the top of the valley, and passed across moonlit clouds.
For a while, I thought I was in the cub scouts again.
