This limerick was inspired by the news http://t.co/c0jIcLy that oil companies and banks are gaining control of large amounts of nature via the UN forest protection scheme.

So, is it laziness, is it just bait
That causes so many to wait
Standing idly by
Until all of it dies
Because we left it so late

Things happen, that is understood
As we watch and wait
We deserve our fate
If we do not join in as we should
