{"id":757,"date":"2008-01-17T01:09:00","date_gmt":"2008-01-17T01:09:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/theothersideofeverything.com\/flip\/2008\/01\/my-nuclear-two-minutes\/"},"modified":"2008-12-03T15:40:46","modified_gmt":"2008-12-03T15:40:46","slug":"my-nuclear-two-minutes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theothersideofeverything.com\/flip\/2008\/01\/my-nuclear-two-minutes\/","title":{"rendered":"My Nuclear Two Minutes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I am pleased that my <a href=\"http:\/\/funk.co.uk\/2008\/01\/four-reasons-why-nuclear-power-is.html\">Four Reasons Why Nuclear Power Is Stupid<\/a> post found its way into BBC Radio 5&#8217;s weekly Pods and Blogs review.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/blogs\/podsandblogs\/images\/network_logo.gif\" alt=\"\" align=\"right\" \/>I wasn&#8217;t totally surprised that Blog of Funk was featured &#8211; after all, I write this blog with some attention to quality, and have reasonably consistent readership &#8211; but pleasant it truly was to witness at least one small moment, albeit on a rather less-well-known-than-it-deserves late night radio programme, which bucked the trend of the almost entirely editorially pro-government reporting that characterised the rest of the BBC&#8217;s coverage of the nuclear subject.
