\nWithout drinking booze
\nIf inspiration’s a lock, I have keys.<\/p>\n

“But I’m an artist,” she said, “so let’s drink
\nTo Bacchus, and slackers who think;
\nWomen and men,
\nLovers and friends
\nDrain your glass to the bottom, and sink…<\/p>\n

“.. Down into the roots of the earth
\nThen erupt in a frenzy of mirth
\n’til your lungs ache and wheeze
\n’til you fall to your knees
\n’til your nose bleeds, and your ears burst<\/p>\n

“For the artist goes out on that limb
\nTo the Universe’s very rim
\nAnd as we are struck dumb
\nDeaf and blind, we become
\nAn ontological hymn.<\/p>\n

“If inspiration’s a fight, I have clout
\nAnd if it’s a pig, I have snout
\nAnd if it’s a beer
\nThe solution is clear:
