I feel better than I did 20 years ago. I certainly look far more gorgeous. I put that down to therapy, love, not drinking alcohol, exercise and meditation. I am not prescribing this as a remedy for all, but it has worked for me.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/theothersideofeverything.com\/flip\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/gorgeous.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1447\" title=\"gorgeous\" src=\"http:\/\/theothersideofeverything.com\/flip\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/gorgeous.jpg\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/theothersideofeverything.com\/flip\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/gorgeous.jpg 640w, https:\/\/theothersideofeverything.com\/flip\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/gorgeous-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Some while ago things started to change for me. Since the dawn of this puny, debt-exploded century, I have found more creative ways to channel frustration, upset and anger, and thus my fortunes are improved. Not by the way that I am materially rich, far from it. While I have lost some people over the years, I have also made wonderful friends, and for this I am truly grateful.<\/p>\n<p>One thing I wouldn&#8217;t swap for youth is the increased patience with regards to myself. However annoying I may be, remember, I actually have to live here. Thanks everyone for not over-reacting to my occasional spikiness, challenging nature and my tendency to randomly blame others for my own failings. Usually I self-correct, given the opportunity. And for those of you who do over-react, I suggest finding <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.co.uk\/New-Earth-Awakening-Lifes-Purpose\/dp\/0141017821\">A New Earth<\/a> &#8211; something we all need.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today I turned 47.
