My name is Dean Whitbread. I’m a writer. I sometimes use the pseudonym Deek Deekster. Deek, a character I invented in 1991, was responsible for the ground-breaking and popular Blog of Funk, most of which is now here in this very place.
I also write a songwriting blog, and I write and produce this award-winning funk podcast.
