This spontaneous outpouring came as I realised very strongly that all the wealth that surrounds us in the developed world makes us believe in the illusion of permanence… later I took the audio and used it in musical composition which embodies abrupt and dramatic change.
I get it slightly wrong as I stream the thought directly into the phone, but that’s ok – what’s a little initial confusion between permanence and impermanence between friends, especially when you are speaking as you are thinking? I make up for the mistake later on.
